Fiction

This is where you’ll find the news about my works of fiction, as well as links to anything available online.

Rookie Season

Rookie Season Final (large) copyRookie Season is my first novel, due to be released on January 30, 2015 in both e-book (Kindle, Nook, etc) and hard copy formats.  You can find the links for pre-order and purchase here.  Rookie Season is about romance between a rookie baseball player, Clay Love, and a divorced freelance writer, Rose Lasting. Set in San Francisco, Rookie Season is much more than a romance novel.  There’s intrigue and a mystery to solve, and a sprinkling of erotica to keep it spicy.

StarkLight Press Science Fiction Anthology

Starklight Volume 3My science fiction story, “And a Little Child Shall Lead Them” was one of those selected by StarkLight Press for publication in their anthology, Startklight Volume 3: An Anthology of Speculative Fiction, now available on Kindle. Don’t know what speculative fiction is? Read Starklight Press’ definition here.

You can learn more about my story and a few other things about my writing by reading my interview with the Editor here.

National Novel Writing Month

AlsNano Winner-2014-badgeo known as NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writers Month takes place every November when writers around the world endeavor to write 50,000 words (about the length of a short novel or novella)  in one month. I spent my 50,000+ words finishing Rookie Season and getting started on the sequel, Scoring Position. Those who succeed in writing 50,000+ words in the month are declared winners and, you guessed it, I’m a NaNo winner! I’ll definitely be entering again next year. You should, too.

Reader’s Carnival

In its December 2014 issue, Reader’s Carnival published one of my flash fiction pieces, “Love Can Do Anything.”
